Some people have already built the market presence, built some traffic but it is not consistent.
In this article, I am going to discuss ways to generate traffic for your affiliate marketing.
So, without further ado let's get right into some valuable insights from my experience which I have used to boost the traffic for my affiliate marketing offers.
How To Generate Traffic For Affiliate Marketing?
It is always easy to start an online business but the hard part is attracting the traffic.
No worries, here are some of the best and proven methods that I used to generate the traffic for affiliate marketing:
1. Blog Posts
There are a ton of different ways to generate traffic for the affiliate marketing website, but the gold standard is creating a niche-specific affiliate marketing blog or website and attracting the traffic for this website.
You have probably already researched on Google and read some articles on a website which answered your questions.
But some of us did not even realize that these articles are published on an affiliate marketing website.
Now the big question, how to generate traffic for affiliate marketing with this type of website?
To generate the traffic to our affiliate links through these websites, we pick some topics on a specific niche, write some helpful articles or blogs that give people valuable answers.
Then throughout these articles or blog posts, we can give our affiliate links to products related to these articles.
As a result, the readers going through these articles might just click on these links.
Eventually, they may purchase the product and you will get your affiliate commission.
Another way, we can make money with these websites is we can put ads on them and you get paid for running these ads.
2. Boosted Facebook Posts
Advertisements are the mainstream methods of generating traffic to an online business.
You can run ads on social media platforms like Facebook and YouTube or do paid search.
These are the tried and tested methods of generating traffic.
Posting on Facebook and then boosting that post with paid advertising in front of people who are relevant to your niche is going to be one of the best ways to generate leads. So, if you do have a budget to spend on this can work really well for you.
Simply create a business page for your online business. It can be a brand or company, anything that's just a separate page then yourself
It is really easy to boost your posts on Facebook. Here are the steps you can follow:
- Create a Facebook page for your online business. It can be a brand or company, anything that's just a separate page then yourself.
- Then create a Facebook post for the article that you post on your website. You just need to have a title and link to that article and a good-looking image.
- Once you have created a Facebook post, click on the Boost Post button below that post.
- Pick, who the audience is going to be.
- Select the duration, how long you want to run this ad.
- Select the budget you want to spend.
If I’m putting something on a Facebook Page, I’ll do 5 days - $ 5 or 10 days - $ 10.
Just $1 a day and then run it for 4 or 5 days or you can even run it for 10 days.
That guarantees to get a lot of traffic over to that article and clicks on your affiliate links.
People who click on these ads are always ready to purchase and the majority of the leads will be converted into profit easily.
3. Facebook Niche Groups

This is completely a free method of driving the traffic to your affiliate marketing website.
You just need to invest some time on this and you will definitely get the results out of it.
With this method, you will be driving traffic by posting links to your articles as responses to the questions.
Now, where do you find these questions on Facebook?
People often ask such questions on niche-specific Facebook groups and you just need to join these groups.
The best way to use this method is to join these Facebook groups with your personal Facebook account, not the Facebook page of your business.
Now the reason we do this is that when we're in that group we're going to be interacting as a person and not as a business.
Once you have joined these groups, look for the questions asked by people related to the articles on your website.
After finding the relevant questions, just copy the link to your article that answers the question and paste it while answering the question.
It is a great source of driving traffic to your website, but make sure that you are not just spamming the links instead post the answers which have some value to it.
Another method of getting Free the traffic is Quora.
If you don’t know what Quora is, it is basically a platform where you can either ask questions or you can answer questions posted by other people.
It is really a great community where you can find answers to almost all kinds of questions.
This method is the same as posting answers on Facebook niche groups. But here we going to follow a slightly different approach.
Now, how can we use Quora to drive traffic to our affiliate marketing website?
On Quora, you need to look for the questions that you have answers to in an article posted on your website. Once you have found those questions, write a response and link your article for more details.
It is really easy, isn’t it?
We are doing the same thing as we did in Facebook Niche Groups.
But hold on, didn’t I mention that we are going to follow a slightly different approach here.
The big difference in strategy here is that your answers need to be completely custom and very detailed on Quora.
A lot of people get kicked out of Quora for just linking their articles.
Anybody can tell exactly what they are trying to do.
Everyone wants the traffic to their websites but it doesn’t mean that we start pasting our links everywhere.
If you write pretty good custom answers to questions posted on Quora and then refer to your article for more information, that is the right way to do it.
You will get tons of traffic from Quora if you do it right.
This is a free method of getting traffic and your answers stay up there forever. So, as you start doing this right and you're putting more effort, people are going to keep reading your answers whenever they have that question.
5. Email Marketing
Why wait for someone to visit your website or go through your posts on Facebook or Quora.
With E-mail marketing, you can quickly start reaching out the potential customers.
Wait for a second, first you need to build a good email list.
Without an email list who we are going to email to, right?
You can build an email list by using a form on your website where you collect the email addresses for sign up, newsletters or by offering a free digital product.
The most important advice I want to give in this case is that you need to be completely careful.
If you are not providing useful or relevant content, then you may end up unsuccessful.
Because if the people don't like the content being shared on the email they will unsubscribe.
You can either inform people about the latest articles which you are going to post on your website or send them a newsletter that will have your affiliate links.
As long as you are sharing good content people will keep receiving your emails.
6. Review Products In Your Niche
In the present world most of the time we go through the product reviews before we purchase them.
Because we want to purchase the best product for ourselves.
Doing product reviews can be vastly beneficial for your affiliate marketing business.
You already do online shopping; all you have to do is do a product review.
However, you need to make sure that whatever you are reviewing, you need to relate to it.
If you are doing the product reviews that are not helpful and genuine, people are going to sense that you are just trying to sell the product.
7. SEO Friendly Website
Your affiliate marketing website is the main source of generating the affiliate leads.
Hence, your website must be well ranking in search engines.
Always make sure that the content you publish on your website is good, knowledgeable, well written and valuable to those who visit your website.
Another important factor in maintaining good search engine rankings is the overall structure of your website. Make sure that you have a well-built website.
It should have well-written meta titles, meta description, usage of proper heading tags, enough word count, low HTML to text ratio, mobile-first, responsive and most importantly have an SSL certificate.
After publishing a website, make sure that you have enough content to rank on search engines.
Try to write at least 30 posts on your website and search engines like Google or Bing will begin ranking your website in search results easily.
It typically takes about 35 weeks from when you write that article and post it on your site until Google has properly ranked it. Once that happens you will be getting a good amount of free organic traffic to your website.
You just have to put the right keywords in your articles with a good density and it will work.

These are not all the methods for attracting traffic for affiliate marketing.
While there are other methods as well, these are the ones that I have personally used and have benefited from.
You may use any one of them or may use a mixture of them, they will work well and attract a ton of traffic.
